On March 29, 2018, Annike's first international EPC project, the upgrading and transformation of the 1# hot blast furnace of the Serbian steel plant of Hegang Group, was successfully put into operation.
Hegang Group Serbia Steel Plant is a Smederevo Steel Plant wholly-owned acquired by Hebei Iron and Steel Group in April 2016. Founded in 1913, it is a century-old metallurgical pillar enterprise in Serbia. The design capacity of the steel plant is annual The output is 2.2 million tons. It was once the only state-owned steel plant in Serbia and was once known as "the pride of Serbia". Hegang Group's Serbian Steel Plant has 2 blast furnaces. Annike upgraded its 2# blast furnace 1# and 2# hot blast furnaces, transforming the original internal combustion hot blast furnace into Annike's patent-cone-column composite top-fired hot blast furnace.
The project is divided into two phases. The first phase is the transformation of 1# hot blast stove, which started in August 2017 and was officially put into production on March 29, 2018; the second phase is the transformation of 2# hot blast stove, which started in April 2018 and is expected to be officially put into production in September 2018. Compared with the original hot blast stove, the overall height of the two modified hot blast stoves is reduced by 7 meters, the refractory material is reduced by 2500 tons, and the steel structure is reduced by about 200 tons, which is 1/3 less than the original hot blast stove body, thus reducing the investment and saving the operating cost.
The first phase of the project: after 240 days of shutdown, demolition, reconstruction, renovation and baking of the 1# hot blast stove of the 2# blast furnace, the new cone-column composite top-burning hot blast stove is widely praised by the owners in terms of performance and operation, and the air supply temperature reaches 1040 ℃, which meets the air temperature of the 2# blast furnace.
In this regard, the relevant Serbian journals also reported, the report said: "from March 11, 1985 to November 27, 1986, the 2# blast furnace 1# hot blast furnace has finally taken on a new look. After the transformation, the hot blast furnace has increased the original air temperature, so that the blast furnace can reduce the consumption of expensive coke in the production process, so that our products can increase revenue in the international market. The reformed hot blast stove has significantly improved compared with the original hot blast stove in terms of energy saving and environmental protection, operating performance, and stable operation of the blast furnace."
As Annike's first foreign EPC general contracting project, this is not only a business behavior of the company, but also an important measure for the company to actively respond to the national "One Belt One Road" strategy. The Republic of Serbia is one of the important countries along China's "Belt and Road Initiative" strategy, and it is also an important strategic country for Chinese enterprises to go out under the framework of "Belt and Road Initiative"; it has a good industrial foundation, superior ecological environment, high humanistic quality, and a high rate of return on input and output. With the help of this project, enterprises can realize the value-added of industrial technology and lay the foundation for their own patented technology to go abroad. In addition, the project has quietly become a bridgehead for Anneke to enter the European market, and its influence cannot be underestimated.
In the future, Anneke will continue to shoulder the heavy burden, take the initiative, take the market as the guidance, take the project as the carrier, take the innovation as the driving force, combine the advantages of the enterprise with the foreign demand, actively participate in the construction of "Belt and Road Initiative", and contribute its own strength to promoting the technological development of blast furnace hot blast stove and the progress of refractory technology.
